Hon. Francis Kitaka is stepping up because our community deserves real solutions based on basic needs that have not been actualized: roads, electricity, water, education, youth & livelihoods, and fair distribution of resources.
Tarmacking key feeder roads connecting rural farmers to markets, upgrading town centers, and boosting economic transport efficiency across Machakos and the constituency.
Accelerating last-mile rural electrification, pushing for transformer and grid extensions to every ward, and connecting public facilities such as schools, health centres and water points.
Sinking and equipping solar-powered boreholes, rehabilitating community dams and sand dams, and protecting water catchment areas so every household has clean, accessible water.
Reforming bursary allocation for 100% transparent, needy-first distribution, modernizing public school infrastructure, and funding digital labs and classrooms.
Establishing vocational skills hubs, creating youth enterprise and employment opportunities, and supporting women and boda-boda groups with seed capital.
Ensuring zero ward discrimination in national government project allocations, with public community participation audits at every stage.
Every single dollar or shilling contributed powers grassroots ward mobilization.
Having served faithfully as a Member of the County Assembly in Machakos, Hon. Francis Kitaka has proven his dedication to community-driven progress. His track record in county governance has highlighted both key achievements and the legislative gaps that can only be solved at the National Assembly level.
"Real political representation is not about promises made in Nairobi offices; it is about basic services realized at the village level—clean water in taps, motorable roads for farmers, and bursaries for every deserving child."

Campaign financing in Kenya is governed by the Constitution of Kenya (Article 88(4)(i)), the Election Campaign Financing Act (No. 42 of 2013) and the Election Campaign Financing Regulations, 2026 — implemented and enforced by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). This campaign runs on full disclosure.
The IEBC monitors spending limits, requires a dedicated campaign financing account, and receives preliminary and final expenditure reports from candidates and political parties.
All contributions must be disclosed to the IEBC and expenditure reports submitted within the prescribed timelines (including within three months after the election).
Anonymous donations, funding from foreign governments, money from illegal sources, and the direct use of public resources for campaigns are strictly banned.
